In the late '50s, four working-class lads from Liverpool formed a group called The Quarrymen, inspired by the R&B sounds coming across the pond from America. A few years (and a name change) later, they would transform pop music forever. Captured live at the Jacob Burns Film Center, Beatles expert Scott Freiman traces the band from their early incarnations through their 1962 debut single, “Love Me Do.”
